Soulmates Eric and Shelly are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
This movie was awful. The first 30 ish minutes were near unwatchable. Incredibly boring. The movie or trying so hard to be edgy that it forgets to be interesting. There are a couple of interesting action sequences on later half (not a lot though) that were pretty decent. But this movie takes way too long to get going. I get that they wanted to establish their relationship but when the two of them have zero chemistry it makes it hard to sit through. Bill Skarsgard isn't bad, I think he's trying, but despite that the script was simply not good enough for him to really elevate the material. I think his version of the character just feel extremely flat. Don't think it's his fault though. Overall it's a 2.5/10 for me.
