Suzume, 17, lost her mother as a little girl. On her way to school, she meets a mysterious young man. But her curiosity unleashes a calamity that endangers the entire population of Japan, and so Suzume embarks on a journey to set things right.
This film was really quite good. Not quite as good as your name. It was really a lot of fun. The animation is stunning and there was a creative choice that really surprised me in a good way. It may have been in the marketing but I didn't really see trailers for this one. The characters were all great and the story was very compelling. 8.5/10
