A 19th-century widow has to make an impossible choice when, during an especially cruel winter, a foreign ship sinks off the coast of her Icelandic fishing village.
Didn't care much for this one. It was dull, generic, the characters were flat. While there were quite a few creepy moments through some solid imagery of bleak winter landscapes, for the most part this film doesn't have anything particularly fresh to offer. It's competently acted and directed, just not a very interesting script. 4/10
