WWII American Army Medic Desmond T. Doss, who served during the Battle of Okinawa, refuses to kill people and becomes the first Conscientious Objector in American history to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor.
This film is absolutely incredible. Such a powerful story of staying firm in your principles and a story of great faith. He was a man of such great courage. And Andrew Garfield does a phenomenal job in his performance as this man. Oscar worthy really. He was so good here. The writing was amazing, and Mel Gibson did a great job directing as well. Just very impressed in really every aspect. I've seen this before but still liked it just as much, if not more. 10/10
