The arrival of a travelling fair to Villasemilla following a ten-year absence is no chance event. The fair was cursed when Fortuna, the daughter of Elvira, a clairvoyant, was kidnapped by the magician Fellini. Fortuna must now be found in order for the spell to be broken.Fortuna, a sweet girl who has inherited her mothers gift for seeing into the future, escapes from the orphanage where she has been confined and returns to her home town.
