I'm not really a Matt Walsh fan, but I will say I did laugh a few times here. But at the end of the day I just have to ask what exactly is he trying to accomplish here? Because I just don't find this to be very productive. The situations can be humorous, but it really isn't effective as satire because good satire should be more subtle. It's not funny enough to be a comedy. It adds virtually nothing to the conversation regarding race that divides this country, if anything it adds to that divide and makes no real attempt to unify. It also bugged me that anytime someone began to say something actually worthwhile he would derail the conversation by playing out his character. It lacks nuance and sincerity and ultimately adds nothing of real value to the topic. I wish he had some more real conversations with normal people rather than honing in on these extremes that doesn't represent most on the left. But if I'm being honest I was mildly entertained. I won't say it's the worst but I can't call it a good movie either 5/10.
