A stranger receives mysterious promptings compelling him to search for a boy lost in an abandoned mine.
For what it is, it's good enough. I don't think it's an amazing film. The acting isn't always great, but it's rarely bad. The writing isn't bad but not amazing either. It was just enough for me to be emotionally invested in the story, which is a good one. I think they could of done more with John Skinner as a character. His characters journey didn't quite land with me. They had this setup of him hearing a voice but the execution of how that paid off wasn't as impactful as it should be if they are going to highlight his character so much in this movie. Honestly instead I probably would have liked to explore the parents and their struggle to keep hopeful. Still overall a solid film with an ok execution. 6.5/10
