This didn't work for me. It's a good story and there are some good messages, though not delivered effectively. A bit heavy handed while also lacking depth. It kind of rushes through the story that it feels like a greatest hits. As a result, it never builds it's message properly to earn it's moments where it wants you to feel something. But it really isn't just the messaging, I'd say the script as a whole was just simply not good. Dialogue was clunky. It doesn't develop it's characters very well. I'd also add the acting isn't very good, I'd even say more often than not it's actually kinda bad. It's not an awful movie. I do think it's watchable as it does have at least an interesting story to tell, it just unfortunately doesn't do it very well. 5/10
