In the end, the movie is at least fun to watch even if it's far from perfect. I will say the romance aspect of the movie really doesn't work for me. I also think the villain of the film was not great. The acting from him wasn't great and just felt a bit too cartoonish. I will also say I was able to piece together quite a lot from the trailer, which made it a bit predictable. It does also have disgusting things happen just for the sake of being disgusting. It doesn't always feel very organic, it just feels like it's intentionally trying to gross the audience out, which for me, takes me out of the movie a bit. I can handle it, it's just I prefer it when it is a bit more grounded, but that's a matter of preference. For some the more cartoonish violence is more enjoyable. But it isn't even just the violence, the story isn't exactly grounded either. I mean he goes to incredible lengths even so far as committing crimes to save a girl that he has really only known a day. Overall the movie isn't bad, it's at least an entertaining watch even if it isn't the most well crafted film. But if you aren't into seeing disgusting things, this film is probably not for you. 6.5/10
