When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.
I had a lot of fun with this one. What really makes the movie work is James McAvoy. He really carries this film. It was quite the performance. I do think the trailer showed to much so I was able to piece together most of it, but despite that I still thought it was great. I think there are times it is a bit slow and repetitive in the first two acts. But overall it was great 8.5/10
