Saul Pincus is a Canadian film writer, director and editor, best known for his feature film debut Nocturne. He began his career as a member of Montreal's early 1990s D.I.Y. filmmaking community and directed a series of short films. When he moved to Toronto, he transitioned to film editing for a number of years, cutting movies, television and documentaries in a wide range of styles and genres, and enjoyed an eight-film collaboration with veteran director Sidney J. Furie. He also served as music editor on several projects and was the executive producer of documentaries for Los Angeles-based Film Score Monthly Online, for which he interviewed and wrote about major film composers past and present.
