Michael Marszalek (March 4, 1930 – September 5, 2014) was a German cinematographer and music producer. The son of conductor and composer Franz Marszalek, he began his career as a photographer and worked as a still photographer on several film productions before moving behind the camera. From the early 1960s onward, Marszalek was primarily active as a television cameraman, contributing to numerous popular German series including Tatort, Drei Damen vom Grill, and Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. In addition to his camera work, he later became a music producer and ran his own label, MARUS, remaining active in the media industry for decades.
