Rodger Kent was a radio and television announcer in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, best known for his work as the lead commentator for the American Wrestling Association (AWA) from 1960 to 1990. Prior to that, he worked at several radio and television stations in Minnesota. He also hosted the show "The Minnesota Sportsman." While most of his career was spent with the AWA, he briefly worked with the World Wrestling Federation in 1988. He received awards such as the Peabody and Clio and was a finalist in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's 1977 awards.
