Türksoy Gölebeyi was born in 1978 in Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Cinema and Television Department. He started his career in cinema in 2002 as an assistant to the cinematographer Ali Utku. Afterwards, he worked with names such as Levent Pelit and Nuri Bilge Ceylan. He stepped into cinematography with the movie "Ses" directed by Ümit Ünal, which was shot in 2009. With his success in this film, he received the Best Cinematography award from the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. Afterwards, he shot the images of films such as Nar (2011), Yeralti (2012) Dügün Dernek (2013), Bana Masal Anlatma (2014) . He was selected as the Best Cinematographer at the 31st International Istanbul Film Festival and the 45th SIYAD Awards with the movie Underground directed by Zeki Demirkubuz.
