In 1997 , he joined TBS, and was assigned to the news bureau news program center. Since then, he has been active as a director of coverage, information and variety. In 2006, he moved to the drama production department. In 2012, he was the first film director of the movie "Ouran High School Host Club". His favorite team is the Hanshin Tigers .
