Cameron Cairnes is approximately one half of the Cairnes Brothers writing/directing duo. Col and Cam's debut feature, 100 Bloody Acres (starring Damon Herriman and Angus Sampson) was released in 2013 to rave reviews with Matt Zoller-Seitz at rogerebert.com calling it "the best low budget horror-comedy since Shaun of the Dead". The film won the Midnight X-treme Award at the Sitges Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor (Sampson) at the 2013 AACTAs - Australia's Academy Awards
